Another fiberglass question

I am installing a set of front and rear fenders along with running boards on my early 50 f-1 I am restoring. My question is, everything is lining up pretty good, but where the front fender meets the running board I had to sort of flex them to get them to line up right, then drilled my holes and mounted. I have been working all of them together trying to get it to adjust. This should not be a problem right? They seem really thick I was just worried about flexing them and having them start cracking, but I see no other way. They are from midwest early ford. Thanks

That's pretty common. You shouldn't have a problem.

Try putting the hood on to see how the gaps are between the fenders and the hood. I had to put a jack with a block of wood under the fender to raise things up a little.

I also puy a piece of silicone rubber sheet between the fender and the running boards.

Sounds good, thanks for the help. I will try hanging the hood and seeing how it looks.

I had to put a floor jack under the back edge of my left front fender and flex it up 2" to get it aligned to the RB. Scary, but doing it with the sun shining on the fender to warm it up helps.
