Hello all! I had a chain of events that led up to this issue. They are unique and I don't quite understand why thye happened. To break it down, I had a cylinder #2 misfire and another cylinder misfire first 1000rpm. It's a used engine. So, to be safe, I done a compression check. Which was 100psi. Is that ok? I checked the coil, then the injector (I think the plug not seating right.) To make a long story short, I think what set off the PATS was 1 of 2 things. I forgot to put the plug back in and attached my coil . Ya I know, what a ******* right!? So, I started it with my remote start. It cranked, and sputtered (No plug) and shut off. #2, I had my Power Probe hooked up to the injector plug. I had alligator clip (ground) hooked to the injector. I then tried to start the engine again. It did the same thing. I noticed this time that my probe tip, was resting on the throttle body and was showing a green "-" sign. Which of course means a solid ground. So, I think I grouned out my ignition system. With all of that being said, when I go to start it, my theft light flashes and my milage shows ----------. It just cranks and cranks. Is there anyway to temporarily disable or bypass this to see if it is indeed the PATS system? Please tell me where to go from here!
IT WORKED!!! It was indeed a blown fuse. I freaked OUT and just kinda gave up after it happened. Thanks for offering insight! I deeply appreciate your help SHO!!!! NOw, onto the cylinder #2 misfire, it's still doin it. Any pointers?
Thanks, I may have to change my fuses to be on the safe side. Because for about 3 weeks, my SCrew would crank and not start, Theft light would flash, and Odometer would display "----------". Cycle key on/off a couple of times and starts. Then just as suddenly "cured" itself.

In case ya'll didn't read the cure it was the ecm fuse. That is fixed. The misfire was cylinder # 2. After extensive testing (that still showed spark) I took Steves advice and changed the coil. That fixed the misfire (that only showed a code once.) Thanks everyone for your help! I'm going to post another issue in another thread after I get done with this about another question. Thanks!!
