I have a friend that used to run that cam with the Performer on a 428 in a big Galaxie. It had tons of bottom end torque to smoke the M&Hs, ran high 13’s a little over 100mph. Outstanding torque from 650 to 5,500rpm. The shaft was a little warmer than a stock CJ cam and had a slight lope, should lope better in your 390.
I'm using it with the Performer 390 and an Edelbrock 750, headers, and like you said its got lots of torque, but it doesn't seem to have any "lope". It idles pretty much smooth at 600 rpm. I was told it would have a bit of a rough idle. Wonder why it idles so smooth in my engine?? Timing is set a 10btdc.

I'm running a Crane 272 degree Energizer and it's the same, tons of bottom end and mid range but very little lope.Intake is a 428PI and carb is a Holley 850 DP.
It's not listed in the latest Ford Racing catalog. If someone will furnish the specs, I'll do some looking and find one that's similar. Most likely it was made by Crane Cams for Ford, so you could probably get it thru them if so.
This is what the spec card has;

I also have an Erson cam thats pretty close to this one, and I believe its still listed in the books. I bought my Ford cam back in 89, and just recently installed it after running the Erson, they feel much the same.
