I saw a junked 1983 F250 6.9L diesel in a Pullapart, had a PTO gizmo on its transmission housing just back of the flywheel/bellhousing. Whatever the PTO had been attached to was long gone. This might have a been a tow truck, wasn't enough left of it to tell.
