As a car builder, I have absolutely no use for them. The people building those claim it's in the name of nostalgia, because that's the way guys used to do it. Well, I'm sorry I'm not buying it. I dare anyone to go through old magazines and show me examples of black primer and parts falling off people's pride and joys.
But I'd bet it doesn't ride or corner very well with the rear springs and locating members that far inboard. Most of what's been done is done well, just not my taste. I'd bet the front fender openings look better in person than in the pictures. It's definitely a "show-er" not a driver.
I did like the interior it's pretty clean and the way the upholstery wraps is pretty cool. Although the stereo doesn't fit.
Did you notice the tilt hood is up as far as it will go. You have to have it on a lift to do anything to the motor, or remove the front clip.
