Cut O2 Sensor

Hey guys,

I just purchased a van and there is an o2 sensor that is cut. I see two on the engine, one below which has four wires and is connected, and then one a little higher on the engine that is cut. It looks like there is only one wire coming out of the one that is cut, but im not sure where to look to have it connected, or why it only has one wire coming out.

Not sure what year truck you have, but some have a O2 sensor bung in the header, that is just for a reference/signal O2 sensor. I had one on my old truck, but it wasn't hooked up cuz someone changed the pass. side header with one that had the O2 sensor in it. I just left it.

What year is your truck?

Most trucks from this era only have 1 O2 sensor so the disconnected sensor is most likely just acting as a hole plug.
