The brightness level suddenly went down on the left headlight. I replaced the bulb but that still did not correct the problem. I have no idea what might be causing this problem. Any advice would be appreciated.
Low brightness is low voltage.
A ground issue perhaps dropping to much voltage accross it from the current flowing.
Each side has a seperate fuse so it's not normally a fuse doing this.
At the poor ground point, voltage accross the poor connection goes up as the resistance goes up.
When it approches about half the system voltage or 12/2 = 6 volts the lamp dims from half the voltage it should have..
