Misfire...
Hey everyone...Not sure if this is the right section..2007 E250 4.6L van. Have been chasing a misfire/random misfire code. Replaced all 8 plugs and 4 of the 8 coils. Fuel filter replaced, fuel pressure seems to be in spec. Checked battery and charging system all good. Sprayed all over looking for an intake and found nothing. I only have a basic scanner so I sent it to my repair vendor and he has went thru everythig and consulted with a friend of his who is a ford dealer mechanic. The ford guy seems to think with all the symptoms and readings my vendor is getting on the scan tool, that it has a vacuum leak. Are these known for that? Any other way to check that? Any other ideas? Truck has around 195,000 miles on it...
