Sounds good Jackson. I didn't know that about the bd dyno. Though I'm sure it'll stand out if it is out of whack. No I'm not a member of the coal rollers. I try my best not to roal coal. Though sometimes that darn skinny pedal gets the best of me . That's a nice truck you've got. Beautiful body on it
The Coal Rollers are just a friendly diesel group, not a bunch of Prius-repelling *******s. Great guys. You can get deals on BD parts too because BD's owner's daughter is an active member. But yeah definitely go to the Dyno Days and stay for the drift event. So much fun.
On my dad's '77 Highboy I smashed the driver's side mirror off via road sign on the highway between Chilliwack and Hope.
Hmm interesting. I don't really buy from bd. I found there service to have much to be desired. Plus the only things they really offer is stock parts for my truck. I usually go with pdr. I've had great service from them and really good prices. The really specialty stuff I have to go through the U.S. Though. Sucks about the mirror, was there any damage to the door.

There are a lot of people who are iffy about BD, PDR, and Bernhausen. It's a little unsettling as no one really knows where to go because of all the mixed reviews. Fun fact, I bought my turbo from CTS Turbo right next to PDR.
The bottom mirror bolt I think pulled the door out just slightly but it's nothing a whack with a hammer can't fix. Basically what happened was I was behind an oversize semi in the right lane, went to pass him in the left and right as I did so I was confronted with construction signage (that was hidden behind the barriers among the left turn) telling me to move into the right lane immediately, but I was now beside the semi. I braked as hard as those old tires would let me (I really shouldn't have been driving with them as they were so old and dried up but my dad was and still is too cheap to replace them), I hugged the semi as best I could (my passenger said the mirror was no more than 6" away from the semi, and then I watched the upcoming roadsign and pylons. It was a diamond construction sign, and the rightmost corner hit the mirror 2" away from the truck's body, so I was literally 2" away from some serious bodywork to the front of the truck. I did what I could to make the best of a bad situation and overall the damage was pretty low all things considered. Right as this happened I was then able to tuck back in behind the semi where I then pulled over, walked back for the mirror, chucked it in the back of the truck and then kept driving to Merritt.
While in Merritt however I was in a Polaris RZR that rolled 200 feet down a cliff. If it wasn't for the roll bar, I would be dead. It saved my life. I don't remember a thing of it but I was concussed pretty badly and drove home to Langley the next day.
