Are there upgraded pushrods for the 7.3L or are the stock ones sufficient even for builds like yours NMB2?

The only upgrade I have found is Harland-Sharp roller rockers. After I found them, Justin sent in his rockers to see if they had any that would work. They didn't havy any on hand but said they could make the for like $900 and then you would need different push rods which are an additional $100. Nobody has run them, so I'm not sure how much gain in power there would be but it would free the engine of a lil drag cus they help with parasitic losses. Also stock rockers work well even with higher power builds but I do plan on getting a set of these sometime way down the road just to see what they do. So IMO stay with stock rockers unless you feel like testing it out...

Oops thought you said rockers. Stock push rods would be fine I would think. Iirc they used stock bump sticks.

Sure is a good idea to upgrade 83-86 6.9L Rockers to 87 6.9 - 7.3L rockers. The older style ones like to break after higher miles.

Yes 7.3L rockers will work with everything else 6.9L.

When I did the head gaskets in my 6.9 Van, at the same time I upgrade to 7.3 Rockers from a good clean junk yard engine, and didn't change anything else.
