4 Years ago I replaced all sway bar bushings with the energy suspension ones. Got the clunk back on drivers side. Does this mean I need to replace them already or just loosen and retorque everything. Thanks.
Mine, turned out to be a bad shock. Now I'm thinking about ditching the the Ranchos and going with Bilsteins.
Not satisfied with the Ranchos? Which ones are you running? I've been running Bilsteins for 3-1/2 years and am considering going with the Rancho 9000XL series.
I've also seen a thread or two mentioning unacceptable customer service from Bilstein on warranty issues.
I have a clunk come n go too i find it every time its the stupid sway bar link have had my shop tighten that bolt 4 times now im about to find a damn welder and somehow weld the damn thing shut.... Its on the driver side some how it keeps coming loose. its not the upper/lower ball joints or the tie-rod ends they are less then a yr old. all moog parts. Any idea WHY guys
Could be vibration related loosening of the bolts, BIG GUY. I would suggest using some blue loctite and see if that keeps things in place for you. Whatever you do, do NOT use the red loctite! Use BLUE.

Okay thanks man But im telling you its getting old and the shop even used a lock nut this last time. It holds for a few months then it must get loose again so weird but its one of those KNOCKS im getting used too. Every time i go back i tell them to tighten that damn nut again. Could it be cheap Bushings? i bought them at advance auto last yr..
Its that stupid top bolt on the fame holding the sway bar link on the front driver side.
RED sure why not LMAO thats like Welding it right? lol
My clunk at the moment seems to be the center link. I changed my end links a yr. ago, clunk went away. The same kinda sound came back. I did an oil change the other nite, & upon checking everything found the new source to be the center link. '99 F250 CC, 2WD.
