Engine perch pic thread

I have a few sets of engine perches and am trying to help a few fellow Ford nuts with my spare parts. I have tried to locate a source that gives pics and info for the perches and what years they fit. Most of the pics I have found are my own photos. It's no problem to come up with a part# but try finding one on a perch. I've removed the grime and paint off of several and have yet to find one.

I thought it would be a good idea to have a main thread regarding this common problem. 2WD or 4X4 put it here.

I believe these to be FE perches from 73-76 4x4 F250.

Post some pics if you have them...or perhaps someone could confirm the above.

I believe these might be 460 2WD perches from unknown year.

The first set sure looks like my FE perches on my 76 F-250 Mark.

Here is a problem. The set on top(rusty) I took off a "highboy" frame today. You can see someone made a slight mod to get the engine to fit. This chassis did not have an engine when I got it.
Other than the obvious differences all the bolts were intact and in stock position.

The set on the bottom(black) I could have sworn came off a 75 F250 4x4 that I used for parts on my 73. Am I wrong?

Hmmmm????

Sorry I can't be too much of a help, but mine looked more like the first set.
I'm wondering if someone was trying to modify FE perches to fit a 460.
But here is the only picture I have of my old ones right now.

Small pic but has the drive side still attached

Funny timing for this - I just yesterday deleted pics from my photobucket page of all the parts I've sold. Had a few sets of motor stand/engine mount pics there. I wouldn't have deleted them if I had seen this. Oh well...

Here's the only pics i have left posted as it's from a build thread.
FE (360) mounts in my '74 F-100 2wd

They are not THAT different, but they ARE different.

I can get pics of the 302 mounts as I have them safely tucked away.

Unfortunately I don't have a 2wd to put them in currently so I can't get pics of them on a truck.

so I'm getting closer to being out of space on the photosuckit account. Therefore if someone has some space & wants to host some pics for me let me know & I'll send over a few. I found pics of the 302 perches in the truck and then I took more of them out of the truck.

I also came across some 460 mount pics (we already have some though) and then pics of 4wd FE mounts vs 4wd 351/400m mounts

Looks like you did the 77.5-79 steering box conv. ? From what I can see in the pic it doesn't look like you put/welded in the 4 pieces of steel tubing you would need, through the holes where the boxes bolts go, inbetween the plate and frame. If not, there is no way the box bolts will get tight and stay tight for long, especially with any oversized tires. The bolts will be just crushing the plate to the frame, nothing for them to seat to. Don't know for sure, just curious because I can't see in there too well in the pic.

Here is a pic of that frame section cut apart from a '79 Low Boy. Factory does it a little different. I just weld pieces of thickwall pipe on the inside plate I make up and just let it rest up against the frame, I don't see any reason to weld both sides of the pipes.
