I'M IN THE PROCESS OF INSTALING A 1990 5.0 HO MOTOR IN MY '76 BRONCO . WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO USE THE SHORTY HEADERS THAT CAME WITH THE HO MOTOR? ANY MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED THAT I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? ANY INPUT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS. TED.

302 Shorty Headers
Hey Ted and welcome to FTE!
Glad to have you aboard. I don't know if the shortys will work or not. Seems to me, if they're not hitting anything by themselves, and they aren't going to "end" directly in line with a frame rail, starter, or other, they'd be okay. You're gonna have to do a custom exhaust anyway with headers.
Anyone else know?
BTW, how about taking it off caps lock, bud. It would sure make it easier to read.
The Mustang headers will fit if you have an automatic.
If you have a manual and are still using the stock linkage, it will interfere on the drivers side.
Hi everyone sorry to hijack but I have almost the same ?.
