Which 5spd tranny do you have, as it takes different amounts of fluid depending on if its a Manual or Auto 5spd tranny & if its 4X2, or 4X4.
Mercon-V is now the specified fluid for the Manual & Auto 5spd tranny. Seeing as how you like to turn your own wrenches, here is a link from the misc section of our "Tech Info" thread to down load at no cost, the owners manual that'll have this & other useable wrench turning info. https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenan...ls/default.asp
