I would be patient, I went through this with a Pontiac Bonneville in 2000. Mice do funny things at night, that one cost me and drove the Dealer crazy.....
We started seeing these kind of issues with the dawning of networks and multiplexing. Essentially, why have dozens of wires running several modules when two wires will work. Have an issue with one of those wires, wierd things happen. I just finished one that KOEO everything worked fine. Start it, odometer was blank, power windows didn't work, turn signals were inop, radio was inop, and it wouldn't come out of park. After 30 seconds or so, the accessory delay relay would energize, then everything would work. Occasionally blowing fuse 27 (ignition switch power), with the instrument cluster completely blank. Cause.........wire chafe, LF at the bottom of the radiator support. Give them a little leeway, it aint your grandfathers 67 chevvy any more.
If this were my truck, patience would start to decrease tomorrow without an update.
They should have at least a decent answer by end of day Wednesday other than "it's still throwing random codes."
They will be hearing from me at the latest 3pm if I haven't heard from them. My confidence for this truck has gone down as this is 2 different CEL's in 4 weeks.
The dealer called me at 7:45am and said that Ford has determined that the EGR cooling coil inside the manifold need to be replaced and they will be in later this morning. Dealer called me back at 1:30pm and said the parts did not show up and they should be here Thursday morning. Weekend is coming up and I better not be stuck with this POS Chrysler 300.
Finally got my truck back tonight, everything seems fine so far. Here's the scoop.
