Hey im James. Last summer i bought my first ford f250, shes a 1968 camper special and a project at that. I drove it home just fine but had problems after that, im now stuck with a wiring issue somewhere. Ive read and followed all the diagrams but still get nothing when i turn the key. Any suggestions?

 

Did you check the ground to the engine?

 

Yeah! i never messed with it when it was running but i was told to do that first and its a solid ground.

 

Is it a auto trans maybe the neutral safety switch.

 

Do you have power to the rest of the truck but it won't crank?

 

clean the battery terminals.

 

Its a brand new battery...

 

that won't matter if your cable terminals are all corroded/gunked up. are the cables clean?

more details would be helpful- do the headlights/horn/anything work?
