knocking noise
I CHANGED THE DRIVER SIDE U-JOINT on the 2008 f350 put axle back and everything else. The manual hub locks are locked and started drive no problem the minute i put the 4x4high on the knocking starts and i raised the truck on all fours and when i put 4x4 on while running and the noise sound like its comming from front drivers side axle everything is in axactly the way i took outwith new dust seals and new u joint. checked the manual lock hubs they are good switched them and still the same. So the noise is only when 4x4 is engaged. i put the axle in no pressure but still is it possible i put it in wrong way or is there a certain way i have to put it in??? AND U JOINT IS UNIVERSAL AND I TOOK THE BLEEDER OFF JUST IN CASE THAT WAS IT AND IT WASNOT.

i did grease every thing no play
the faster i drive the faster the noise
no noise if the hub not locked
