engine diagram anyone?
i have an 86 f-150 300 inline 6. its seems ive blown a head gasket
... does anyone have an engine diagram that could help me get the engine apart? and does anyone have any pointers?

Yes, it will give you the torque sequence to re-install the head bolts(there is a special order you have to tighten them) and also give you the values of the torque. Of course you are going to need a torque wrench to do this correctly. If you are going to keep doing your own work, it would be a good investment.
