Okay guys, you have always been super helpful, and I really appreciate it I'm now stumped, I changed the water pump on my truck due to the gasket blowing on it, nothing bad just a minor link but... So I changed it, new water pump new fluid, but as soon as I went to go start my truck, it ran for about a minute, then started stumbling, so I stopped it, to never start again. Checked the fss, it clicks, but I noticed that a distinct squeak was coming from the IP, so I cracked a line and cranked, no fuel from the line, period. I figured the IP just finally went out due to new injectors being installed, so I replaced it, ($520 ouch!) Got it installed, I was extra careful to not remove the timing cover tower, and when I reinstalled it, did not move the gear at all. Charged the batteries, gave it a few cranks with three lines cracked to bleed the air out, fluid came out of the three, so I tightened them, tried to start it again, it ran for about 10 seconds horribly, and died. Cracked open a line again, tried to see if more air would come out, now nothing, and its making that squeaking noise again. Is my new pump bad? Or am I missing something?

Reason: Truck details
Haven't replaced the lift pump recently, but it's giving 5-7psi out the schrader valve at the filter head at about 1/3 pint per 10 seconds, the filter itself is less than a month old, same as the injectors.
Since the squeek started after you replaced the water pump, did you get the bolts back in the right place? IIRR there are a couple of bolts that are shorter that need to go in by the timing gear. the longer ones will rub the timing gear. Might be something to check.
I replaced all of the bolts for the water pump with new ones, they were pretty unreliable-looking (had to replace a busted bolt on the thermostat housing already) and I torqued them down to proper specs as well. I believe the IP may have been bad from the shop, they said as long as I bring it back they will exchange it free of charge, but I won't get it until tomorrow, hopefully that's all it was.
Oh and farmert, I installed the water pump, fired the truck up, moved it over to the gravel, then noticed the pump was leaking (not enough silicone in one spot) so I redid it, and that's when it started squeaking and no fuel left the IP since then.
take all the belts off, fire it up for a few seconds to see if the noise is still there?
you didn't directly reply about the shorter WP bolts yet.........
I put the exact same size bolts on for the water pump, I also put a lock washer on them that was slightly thicker than the stock washer. Even then, the squeak didn't start until the IP stopped pushing fluid to the injectors, like it went bad. The parts store said they would replace it free of charge, but they are closed today, I'll get the replacement one tomorrow and install it, and get back to you on what happens.
Okay, have the remanned IP out, about ready to stuff the new one in, and I decided to pop test my new injectors just in case.Turns out two of them went bad. I'm waiting for them to be delivered from across town, hopefully within the next hour. By the way, I have pictures of the process to change the IP to hopefully made a DYI, as I have yet to find one online with pictures. That and all feedback would be appreciated.

Nice, I'd like to see those.
The more info on this strange looking piece of machine (IP) the better.
