Need Steering Box Info

I have a 2000 F250, V10, 4x4. I need to replace my steering box and when I called O'Reilly they asked if it was a 32 or 36 spline output shaft. So...how do I know which one?

Crawl under there and using something like a dental pick to help keep track, count the splines on the shaft that the Pitman arm attaches to.
