fender swap
ok im sure this has been covered 1000 times but im goin to ask anyway...i have a 1990 f150 and maybe getting a 1986 f350 i may swap the front clips what i wanna know is if the core supports are the same to mount the fenders and grill...i know that they are differnt because one is diesel the other gas....what im hopeing is that the 1990 body parts will bolt onto the 1986 core any help would be great

Nope, won't work. Now you can possibly make it work with a little fabbing, but the older frontends had the glass lights, the newer frontends had the plastic lights, and it's different. What you need is a early model diesel core support to bolt inbetween your older style fenders.
But like I said look at it, you might be able to make it work.
