Diesel prices in the New England region were highest at $4.197, while the Gulf Coast region saw the lowest price per gallon at $3.865.

The price of diesel for the week ending Nov. 19 as reported by EIA for each region is as follows:

U.S. – $3.976, down four-tenths cent
East Coast – $4.052, up 1.5 cents
New England – $4.197, down one-tenth cent
Central Atlantic – $4.171, up six-tenths cent

West Coast – $4.094, down 3.7 cents
West Coast less California – $4.038, down 6 cents
California – $4.142, down 1.8 cents

ProMiles, which surveys diesel prices daily at 9,400 truck stops, reported diesel prices at $3.995, an increase of two-tenths cent over Sunday and six-tenths cent above this past Monday. West Virginia saw the highest increase at 4.9 cents, although Connecticut diesel prices came in the highest at $4.489. That tops Missouri by 77.5 cents, which was lowest at $3.714.

About the same here in south-central AL - diesel dropped very slightly over the last month to around $3.80. Gas plunged to the 3.09 range, but jumped up 10 cents last night, now running 3.19.

Personally, I kinda like that diesel does slow changes. Used to drive me crazy the way gas prices fluctuate so much.
