recommended after-mkt. body parts

Who sells the best quality after-mkt. body parts, like fenders for an f-350 psd? And a radiator support unit? Was 1997 a "change-over" year? How do I know I have the right parts? My mechanic said be careful ordering.

If you're getting parts for an F-350, 1997 will mean that it's for you. The next F-350s are the 1999 Super Duty models.

You won't find a core support for a diesel new. You'll need to fix what you have, modify a gas one, or find a used one. I'm not sure on body panels. Look for 1996 panels though, since 97 was a change over year, there can be mixups. 92-97 body panels are all the same, 150-350.

Ok, thanks. there is a used truck place here in CT that has EVERYTHING for diesels, and other trucks too. I'll pick up two fenders and a rad support. probably all for under $300. Not to shabby. Weird, the truck I bought is rust-free except those fenders. The body shop said easier and cheaper to replace than repair. I really hate rot and rust, and Bondo don't make it go away! Thanks again...

I highly doubt that you will get two fenders and a radiator support for under 300. Not saying you won't, but if you do let me know and I'll run over there and get fenders and a radiator support too.

They have everything that you could need for a Ford pickup, but they aren't always the cheapest. They wanted $125 for one locking hub for my Excursion, so I decided to go with Warn lockers instead.

Well, I did find a a good set of fenders and the rad support unit on ebay motors, all guarenteed, no tax, free shipping (both ways). However, i'm still prepared to modify. After this the truck will be 100% rust free. The under carriage looks like a black mirror. nice.

It's pretty bad, in fact, so rusted it split apart. Weird, because everything around it is fine. We have already done from the rear bumper to the the nose, sand blasted and painted, under-coated. 90% done. fenders and rad support remaining. I found some really good deals on ebay for these parts, and yes, i'm being careful. Can't wait till this project is done!!
