At first, that was a concern of mine, cuz that stuff really stinks. Even Stink would say that stinks.

I've never noticed it though. Maybe the fumes from the exhaust leaks covered it up.

ok, it's easy....but why?? like 85351ho said just put them really high and turn them down, if all else fails just change your rear end dope!! Some of ya'll's trucks prolly needs it, lol

as far as mods go...anything to keep your tires spinning and your axles off the ground will sure help!!

2) exhaust routed along frame, 14" lift, 44" tires. That pretty much does it.

Are you puting the exhaust in the frame or right next to it??

Where do you exit it then. Sounds like it would exit by the gas tank.

The tank is in-cab. You can see the exhaust in one or two of the pics in my gallery.

Also what about befor you go mudding. Any cool mudding mods out there????????
Everytime I plan to hit the slop I go down to the car wash and spray a coat of wax on the underside of my rig. River rattin' or swamp boggin, it just seems to clean up easier.

I found that a bumper deep creek crossing cleans the undercarriage nicely!

Where'd you dig up this fossil? Good thread though, some great advice here. I've got to say, whenever an old thread like this pops up I see a lot of posts from FTE members who still post a lot but never seem to post in here anymore. Did we scare them away? Seems to be just a handful of regulars in here nowadays.

Oh, and my tech for mudding: Go to an electric fan so you can turn it off in the deep stuff and not drown your carb!!! Learned the hard way.

I have a little pressure washer with a soap attachment. I think before I go out this weekend, I'll fill the soap bottle up with baby oil and spray the whole truck. Well, not the windows, but everything else.
