Howdy guys, I've had these problems for a while, but I figured I'd ask about them before something bad happens. Keep in mind, I have aftermarket rims and tires on my truck.
So, I've noticed for a couple months now that at about ~53 mph, give or take a mph or two, I get some pretty noticeable up and down shake. I can feel it in the steering wheel and my seat. It's nothing terrible, and I'm not even sure my passengers feel it, but it has me a little concerned. I'm hoping all I need is a simple tire rebalance. I had them balanced when they were put on about 8k miles ago, but I haven't had them balanced since. I plan on doing it a 10k when I get an oil change, unless I find the need to go in earlier. I had the tires rotated at 5k, but again, not balanced. Thoughts on this issue? The main reason I am asking is because I know there could be other issues causing this other than the tires.
The other issue, that I can't seem to replicate, is occasionally when I brake, the truck pulls to the right. It happens as soon as the braking begins and I quickly straighten the truck out. I've tried to replicate it many times by just braking with my hand off the wheel, but it seems to just happen whenever it feels like it. Any thoughts on this? Could it be related to the shaking as well?
Tires seem ok from the outside. I'll be getting an alignment at the same time I get the balance so we will see what that does. The last three are the things I am worried about. It's only got 69k miles though, so surely they aren't going bad yet.
Speaking of shocks, aren't the shocks in these FX4s supposed to be "softer?" I go off pavement occasionally and I swear I feel every bump and I feel like the shocks don't have as much give as they should for a FX4 truck. I've ridden in a car over the exact same path and it's like they absorb more than my truck. That shouldn't be right should it or am I just crazy? A truck should have a softer suspension than a car?

This has crossed my mind as well. Again, something I will get checked out. Is this something I can inspect myself easily?
A wheel with a sticking caliber should have marks on the brake discs or the pads maybe more worn than the pads on the other wheel.. I believe there is a grease that can be put in the caliber to free it up.
