Truck wrecked in Houston

Hi all,

jeffryt wrecked his truck, guess over the weekend. He is in Houston, might need some help finding a good shop tomorrow. We are pm'ing each other, but if someone knows a good body shop let me know, or check his thread in the 99-03 7.3 forum.
I think he is from Florida.

Thanks.
Tom.

Thanks Dom.
Yeah, I think it's all coming together for him. He had it taken to Tommy Vaughn for the repairs, and he is trying for later model upgrades for the sheet metal.
If you want some entertainment, I think his thread is "Totaled in Houston". It got a little interesting with comments around putting a 6.0 tranny cooler in it. Our local Texas Chain Ring is about the only person on the forum that seems to feel this is a waste.
But, everybody is entitled.

The 6.0 Tranny cooler cools quicker. Also, the 6.0 intercooler system cools faster and keeps EGTs down too.

Yeah, Texas chain ring is like that. He's alright but he can get over-excited, if u know wat I mean.

My mother always told me, "If so and so jumped from a bridge, would you?" Apparently everyone else has followed the Pied Piper off that bridge.

My feet remain firmly planted on the ground.

I used to cycle a lot. Before my buying my Specialized Tarmac Elite compact double I had a Gary Fisher hard tail mountain bike. I used to ride road with it. For more rolling resistance I'd turn my knobby tires around and ride in the biggest gear.

I did the same with my road bike, only ride in the biggest gear. I'd start out with the second fastest group (Northwest Cycling Club) after the fast group took off and while everyone else was spinning their wheels simply riding in a group, taking turns at the front, my training consisted of leaving my group and catching the fast one. That meant all out war on myself and any wind.

That's how I rode every training group ride, in the big gear and all over Texas, from Austin to Round Rock, Cold Springs, Double Lake to Fulshear to La Grange, Galveston, Dallas, etc. I've put down thousands of miles on bikes.

I once raced bike for bike from West Oaks Mall to Fulshear and back, 60 miles. I smoked the guy, but let him keep his bike.

Anyways, Texas Chain Ring, cycling.

That's cool. Kind of figured as much. Just not many cyclist hanging out in a group of diesel junkies.

Oh ur all heart, preston. No worries. Ur tops in my book. Lol. U remind of how I felt on that very same day I got my Ford pickup. I was dizzy as a schoolboy. And I'm very certain u have done ur homework over n over again. The 6.0 intercooler is considered an upgrade if u wanna stay in the stock lines.

Me? I'm just gonna bulletproof my six-oh. Then I'll do some serious mods after tat.

Sorry for hijacking the thread.

Okay, so you don't get YOUR panties in a wad . I own: '74 Raleigh Pro frameset, '81ish Trek 610, '83 Raleigh Superbe, '87 Basso Loto, '83 Hujsak,
Trek 600 mountain bike and a Litespeed mountain bike, a Trek OX/1 cross bike. Sold a couple of others last year when money said time.
I kind of figured you might catch on to my TrekBasso moniker.
Short answer, of course one can have more than one interest. Maybe.
What do you think Snuggy?
