We are needing to upgrade to a larger vehicle. I was offered an awesome deal, but I want another opinion from this forum. The local dealer has a 2012 Expedition EL Limited on the lot. It as a demo for the dealers wife. To that, it has everything from dual captains, DVDs in the headrest, remote start to EVERY available option. It has an MSRP of 61K. With that, they are wanting to get rid of it. They are offering me 45K for it with full warranty and so on. There is not a mark on it. Is this a good deal in your eyes? Thoughts?
would jump on it. my 2011 holdover xlt standard length (was new though) with the power liftgate and towing package and I paid $40k for it about 7 months ago. they did help on my trade though - but sounds like a great deal.

Thanks mtondreo. We are trying to figure out how to get rid of the my wifes 04 Pacifica. With the trade, we would be about 37K-38K or so. I really dislike car payments, but being that this is a 61K car and I am sitting at 37-38 with my trade, I think it is decent. Thanks again!
Being a demo you even might be able to still negotiate the B2B to start at the mileage you are purchasing it from... so instead of 36k, it'll be bumped to 46k if it was never titled.
I would treat it as a used car unless they warranty it to 46k as stated above. I've heard the same stories on all the demo cars: Owner/manager use it as a "demo". Fact is, dealership staff use it for various reasons, including transporting customers. Makes no difference if it's a "used" or "demo" 10,000 miles. The car can't tell a difference. One might argue that the demo miles are more severe as no particular person is concerned with the longevity of the vehicle.
