hub cap question

Wondering if anyone has run a hub cap from a SD (1999-up) on the old bolt pattern. How long did they stay/are they working great?

I've got some dudge wheels for my early bronco with f250 axles, but I want some FORD hub caps to cover the ugliness up..... and i REALLY like the newer crome caps.

The only chrome "hub cap" I know is is actually BONDED to the wheel and is not removable

Haha I find it really funny that your photo of a 6.0SD is on a trailer.

Sure. Everybody calls them something different.

I Did some math and the difference between the center of the lug on the old 8x6.5 pattern and the center of the new 8x170 lug is about 2.5 millimeters. That's not a lot but would the cap stick well enough to stay attached?
