1954 ford f100 stepside, flat black paint, has full airbag suspenstion. Converted too all disk breaks, ford nine inch rear bed set up if u want to tub it out, traction bars. 20 inch chrome wheels with brand new tires, led tail lights. On the inside seat has been redone with Simpson racing seat belts. Full chrome tilt wheel all new chrome gauges, tall shifter. And it has a/c. Under the hood it has a 460 big block racing engine.
It would be worth a lot more if it were finished up a little, especially the interior (dash and carpet/mat). I would say it would bring $6k as is, despite all the money put into it. You looking to buy it? Ask what he'd take without those wheels, that should knock a bunch off the price and make the truck look better, IMO.
You don't have to have a certain number of posts to include pics in your posts. I posted pics in my first thread.
The pictures have to be somewhere on the Internet first. I use Photobucket, but you can use any one you like.
Here's one way to post pics in your post instead of links to the pics.
Go to Photobucket and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.
While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this: http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ghtsafter1.jpg
Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).
When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).
Hey Jr,
It's always hard to tell value through pics. Does it run?
If it's running he should be able to get $8K - $10K for it.
I paid $6.5K for our's & that one is in better shape.
Take out the Simpson belts too. They are not legal for highway use and four or 5 point harnesses are dangerous on the street. What makes it a "racing" engine besides racing from one gas station to the next before it runs out of gas?
Looks like the PO couldn't decide what it was supposed to be when it grew up, a race car or a street car, which usually makes it not very good for either.
What do you want to do with it?
