Door open switch/trip
2006 extended cab F250... Has anyone else had trouble w the switch in the door that triggers the interior lights, bed light..,etc when you open the door? The truck is a friend of mine's. He had to pull the fuse to the lights to get it to stop kicking them on going down the road.
Dealership can't find anything because it wasn't doing it when it was there. With the interior light fuse removed, the relay clicks randomly going down the road, not all the time or consistently.
Help/Thoughts?

Q: Why won't my "Door Ajar" light & dome light turn off?
��� A: The switch is dirty. The switch that controls the door ajar light is an integral part of the latching mechanism. Get some WD-40 or similar product and liberally spray inside the latch. Open and close the door a few times. The problem should be gone.
