I always have problems posting illustrations in PM's so I'm posting this illustration from the Ford parts catalog for 1977mudrat.

Just look for the metal ones in the "help" section at the auto parts store. Same thing & stronger than the plastic ones that will break again

Basic part numbers only shown in illustrations, text section required to get complete part numbers. Body basic part numbers also require 2 additional numbers, as you can see.
When you look up
basic part number: 431C56, catalog sez refer to
basic part number: 21952.
E6AZ-54 21952-A (replaced E3TZ-
10 21952-C, D4AZ-
65 21952-A & D2VY-

Are these clips the same as the ones that are on the door locking rod (not sure if that is the official name).
