This help any? Would like to know how old they are - not that it matters much just will maybe help anyone out there with these tires. Looked all over the front and can't find anything DOT or anything with a 4 digit number other than the weight ratings.
Looks like that's the side that's not date stamped. The other side should have the date code at the end of the DOT number.

PO put them on there, had never heard of them until I saw them on this truck in May when I bought it, Geo Trac is the name. Cheap junk.
Those are Sears house brand of tires. Those wheels should be good though, they have been around since day one. There is only one DOT (Dept of transportation) line. You got it all, no need to look again. Tire companies are getting so they won't mess with any tires that are over 6 years old, they won't even put them on. It seems like these "rules" are always in favor of the people that are selling things. "Those are too old, you have to buy new ones" lol. Don't feel bad, my Westlake E rated Chinese tires have a recall on them which has expired. Maybe sears will give you an adjustment. Some people are claiming 90,000 miles on those LTX's.
Reference Symbol (certifies the tire manufacturer’s compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation tire safety standards
Manufacturer’s Plant Identification Code
Tire Size Code Number
Tire Type Code (coding for type of tire optional by manufacturer

That's not always the case Brent. I've seen numerous cases where the DOT line is only partially complete on one side of the tire, and has the date code on the other side of the tire. In fact some of my own cars have this. Different manufacturers do it different ways.
For example the old Firestones that are on the front of my X have no DOT number on the outside sidewall, but a complete one on the inside. The brand new BFGs on the rear have a complete DOT number on both sides. I can't tell you how many times I've seen an incomplete code on the outside and had to get on the ground to read the inside of the tire for the date code.
My old girlfriend had 125 pairs of shoes and she said that was normal
Ha well I own one pair of shoes that cost that much, but they are the zero degree boots I where in the winter or when in Canada.

Ok got ya. Maybe after this last 1k she will stop shrinking my bank account. Tires truly are the last moving thing in the suspension, drivetrain that I have not replaced on this truck.
I have a set of Michelin LTX with a 06 date code that are showing sidewall cracks also.....lots of tread left. I can not justify sending that much on tires when I know I will not wear them out in 6 years.
Got Michelin LTX M/S 2's installed today - 285's. What a difference, all vibrations gone and she is smooth as glass. Amazing what a difference "round" tires make. Can you say HAPPY DANCE! 7 months of vibrations that ended up being 4 separate issues on this new beast of mine and I feel like I won the lottery today. Almost drove an extra lap around 465 on the way home just to enjoy the "smooth ride".
I hear ya. I had a set of Bridgestones on the Ex I just sold that came on it. They were almost new at the time. I only figure they lasted about 40k (with LOTS of highway miles). Replaced them with Michelin LTX M/S2's. Those Bridgestones had been so noisy and with rumbles, especially later in their life, and the Michelins seemed to solve so many problems that I thought were attributed to other parts on the truck.
The rollover I bought had the older style M/S 1's on it and I estimate had around 70k on them. They were quite bald and starting to get some weather cracks, but they were as quiet as the brand new ones I had just bought!
