Trip

Hey guys, I'm gonna be covering I-10 between Chipley, FL, and Beaumont, TX, then back to Jennings, LA. All my fluids check out, tire pressures are within spec, and the wife has a great selection of audio books to choose from.

Wish me luck, and if anyone has any issues today between here and there, I'd be more than happy to pull over and lend a hand or a wrench. Reply here, or send me a PM.

Great offer Jeff!!! Rick Miller isn't that far from I-10 near Lake Charles - he needs some help... Oh, you did say 'wrenching'!!! Lol, if you've never met Rick and have time - I'd suggest trying to hook up with him.

Heads up though, he likes to drink a 'little' beer........

I used to know a bunch of water tower painters from around Chipley - but none of them are likely to admit they know me!

Jeff, I'm not far like Jason said. If you need anything, let me know. How long will you be in Jennings?

Jason, thanks for the kind words. (I think)
You need to get your butt back down here.

I lived in Lake Charles 4 years, and lived 30 miles North of Lake Charles for 18. Small world. Don't know any water tower painters, but I imagine I could ask around and find them pretty easy. I worked in Chipley for a year, but have been in Panama City for the past few years.

So I know all about that eating and drinking in SWLA. Born and raised in it

Hey Rick, I'll be there till Sunday. My brother is getting married Saturday in Iota. After that I'll be in Houston till Wednesday, then back to Gulf Shores till the following Sunday. Grand Lake, Hell that ain't Lake Charles. I grew up in Kinder, right behind Coushatta. What I need is a good fishing trip. Used to fish with a guy named Jacob Guillory on Big Lake... Tore the specs up.

I remember telling you I was born in Iota. Many years ago.

I live about a mile from Hebert landing on the Island. Not much fishing being done right now because of the duck hunting.

Rick I don't know how people in the rest of the world can drink out of 12 oz cans. I had to switch to bottles when I moved.

My hands are not so big, so I like the 10oz cans. I can't do bottles (unless that's all that's left). I tend to have broken glass all over the place at the spots I fall.
