Could be, I don't have a lot of experience with this particular hose, at least none where I recall details. Comparing the line with the old one, which apparently worked for a considerable time, would help figure it out.

Took it back to NAPA this morning and they said it was defective. Ordering me a new one for in the morning. Sure hope it works. Was scheduled for a new set of Cooper 35" STT tires to be put on last weekend until this came up. Snow is around the corner here in the midwest. Thanks again for the help and I will update if the saga continues. THANKS!

Number dummy....have you ever worked on these trucks, cause I have three of them, and not one of them has a quick connect fitting on th p/s pressure hose. I have one with a 300 six, and one with a 351m and one with a 302. All have the same saganaw pump with a screw in swivel fitting on the back...Sounds like your confusing quick connect with swivel. Just my 2 cents. Glad you fiqured it out WONGS83.

Thank you forum posters! Got everything back together yesterday after picking up the new hose NAPA. It was faulty hose. Something about a retainer ring or crimp missing, but regardless its working. Thanks again.
