Cleatus12r: I was hoping you were watching. I saw that you swore off FTE a while ago (probably because of stupid questions from newbies like me). I tried to send you a PM on this topic, but it said you weren't accepting PMs. I am sure that one can get tired of PM's on repeats of the same old (but new to me) questions over and over again. But I and no doubt everybody else is really happy that you are still sharing your knowledge and experience on threads.
So, revised to state:
If one can crank the damper pulley bolt 720° with wrench by hand, then the engine is simply not hydrolocked.
Thanks to you all. I will report back on my original thread once I start it up.
But, I find it fascinating they got away with a show whose main characters were a hippie, gay guy, (2) lesbians and a talking dog (who was obviously taking the same dope as the hippie...).
Then there was the cartoon with Olive Oyl. This chick was as loose as they come, playing the field like a craigslist callgirl!!
And lets not forget the Smurfs! This tiny village of little blue people who lived in mushrooms had only (1) female in it. The villain in this show (Gargamel) and his evil puss where hell-bent on eating the 'lil creatures....
This was just the cartoons!! We also had The Dukes of Hazzard, Gilligan's Island, The A Team, MacGuyver, Knight Rider, etc.
Well, in my defense, I was on Google and I saw the thread about hydrolock, and not knowing what it was, I checked it out.
Then the geezer took over and I didn't look at the dates, just the comments. By the time I saw the last post, I had assumed it was current, and thought of all the "expert" shots on those two shows.
I hope my explanation overrides the horror of responding to a "dead thread".
