4.2 4.6 engine swap help
I have a 1998 ford f150 2 wheel drive 4.2/5 speed truck. i also have a 1999 ford f150 4x4 4.6/auto truck. I took the engine/transmission/transfer case out of the 1999 and put it in the 1998. I already swapped out the pcm. Everything works, lights hazards, starter, if I hold the clutch pedal in. The engine cranks over but does not start. It sounds like its firing. I checked each plug wire for spark with a timing light. All good? I plugged in my diagnostic scanner and have no codes. Any suggestion greatly appreciated. Thanks
