Tuners
What is everyone's reccomendation for a tuner ?
I want one that allows good monitoring.
Banks ? Bullydog ? SCT ?
If it matters I will not be running anything "extreme". I have an 05 excursion, will not be towing, have stock head bolts etc

Check out SCT newest tuner/monitor, the Livewire TS. This will monitor the basics of the 6.0 including FP and EGT.
Another good combo would be SCT X3 (custom tunes) with either a ScangaugeII, DashBoss (iOS device), Edge Insight CS/CTS, or Torque (Android devices). The ScangaugeII and Torque will require you to buy analog gauges/pod for FP and EGT. The Insight and DashBoss will allow you to monitor FP and EGT right on the monitor.
Now it just comes down to your personal preference and how deep your pockets are.

I definitely want a good way to monitor. I'm not stuck on it being built in to the tuner.
I know SCTs are popular here especially with the SRL tune from gearhead.
I guess I just want lots of opinions. The only people I personally know have bully dogs, and they are very happy with them.

How can it monitor FP and EGT without adding sensors?

The new Livewire TS has the ability to "add on" sensors, just like the Edge Insight CS/CTS or DashBoss. Livewire TS can add up to 7 external "add on" sensors.
I should of clarified my other post, you will need to install sensors to the motor that can be used to monitor the parameters on the Livewire TS, Insight CS/CTS, DashBoss.
OP, there are some parameters that no monitor will read thru the OBDII port, like Fuel psi, EGT, and oil psi. You will need to add sensors in order to get these readings.
