7.3 into v10 hole?

i have a tired v10 in my 2000 excursion was looking at the cummins swap with the 12v question is is there as ford diesel that will bolt into this truck and maybe a little less work like a powerstroke or even a keep it simple stoopid idi 7.3 diesel? thanx

the 7.3 fits in there cuz it was avialable as a factory option...

the Cummins swap seems to be the most popular thou..tons of kits an parts going that route...

Why not just try for another V10, like a 3 valver or something.

The 7.3 will not just "bolt in" in place of the V10. It's probably just as much work as putting a Cummins in there if you use the available aftermarket parts.

Much easier to put another V10 in there, or trade it in on a diesel
