Dead battery

Can I make it home on a dead battery. It needs a jump to start
And the abs light is on from low voltage. Can't afford another tow
After EGR cooler blew

I dont know but a FICM is way more expensive than a tow, the low voltage is hard on the FICM and injectors. Does your auto insurance cover towing? Running on bad batteries will also damage your alternator.

Agreed, tow it. FICM will die from low voltage like that rather quickly. Dead FICM is hard on the injectors as well.

It sounds like your alternator is bad if with the truck running voltage is
still low. Eventually you won't have enough voltage to even run,
putting on the brakes/headlights could drop the voltage enough
to have it stop running while driving - NOT a good thing to have happen.
