Young 'un with no patience nor mechanical ability buys a 1974 Super Cab, places title inside glove box. After arriving home, couldn't get the glove box door open, striker plate for glove box latch loose.
Calls me, waaa what can I do? I said use a credit card or plastic putty knife to pry the door forward, that will bring the striker plate forward...then push the button.
Prys the door open instead with a screw driver, bending it all to hell. When he told me this, I said...you're a cluck! All you had to do is cut the cardboard liner open with a knife.

LOL! At least you can get replacement doors almost anywhere.
@Flappy188 I can't find a plastic one anywhere. I bought the replacement cardboard one from LMC, It fits like crap. Not happy with it. Let me know if you find a plastic one!
Almost everything had cup holders in door from 50's to 80's, made for setting cups not big gulps. And everything had cardboard liners also I think, until GM started making the hinges out of bent plastic. Ford supplied a different liner with the Ford behind glove compartment dealer AC, was shorter than regular.
