Replacement panels for 8' stepside??
Does anyone know where to look??? Every place I try is either 8' fleetside, or 6' stepside. It seems nobody does 8'stepsides.
My bed has got some bad cancer in spots. I've gotta get it fixed sometime soon. The right fender is a little flappy...the wall has rusted along the lower back side of the fender flair.
Does anyone know if someone makes a complete 8' stepside bed in FG?? I know it'd be expensive but.......

They seem to have lot of parts. Hope this helps.

Replacement panels for 8' stepside??
I have a 6' stepside and have done some extensive searching. Pro's Pick will make 6' sides witout the inner well for the tune of $320 a side. the 8' might be a little longer. I personally went down to the local metal fabricator and got two sides made out of 14 gauge steel for $100. I'm making the stake pockets out of box tubing and the bed lip roll out of .095 steel tubing. Right now I have less than $200 in it, and its going to be stronger than the factory.

mudmnky-Do you have any blueprints or plans that you'd be willing to share? How about pics?? What will the weight difference be from stock??? Sounds real interesting.
