I have a 1979 f-350 dually dumptruck the cab is rusted badly i have found a cab off of a 1983 model will this cab mount up with little to no mods...if not what year models should i be looking for...if anyone has any info or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
ill try my best to help, i know an 80's model bed will fit on and 70's frame no problem so the cab and front end shouldnt been to much of a problem, im about to put a 78 f150 on a 86 bronco frame
Thats the issue with one im replacing now the floorboards are rusted out im almost flinstoning it haha...but im open to all options...can you send pocs of the cab and im located in ky where r u located
83 wont fit without mods. Any cab 73 to 79 will bolt on
Not entirely true. The 73-77.5 F-250 4wds and the f-350 73-79 2wd cap and chasis trucks used outboarded rear cab mounts. The rest used inboared rear cab mounts. Not a direct bolt in but with a little work itll go on.
