front 4x4 shift fork
HI
I have a 01 f150 that needs to have the front shift fork replaced.
Truck has a 6" lift kit. Can I replace the fork without removing the differential ? Have read both yes and no answers.

Why does it need replaced ? Quite often if it does not work, the linkage is sticking on the outside. Put some spray lube on the cylinder shaft and slip linkage and work it back and forth several times... or do you know the fork is bad ?
