Does anyone know if the smoke lenses can be changed to amber? I have an 05 KR with the cab lights that are amber, want them to match. I have found the amber lens and I would rather not buy the mirrors that have them and have to rewire. Want to plug and play.

The mirrors look great! i want a set for my '01 Excursion, but the sales guy says the won't work. What do I have to do to make them work? I currently have the droopy ear mirrors with heat and turn signal on the glass.

Many a write up on here on what you need to do. Small nub to grind off on new mirrors, besides wiring they bolt right up.

The stock OEM 10 got the lower heated mirror also, for those inquiring minds.

I got 'em! I intalled the trailer tow signal heated mirrors and it was a smooth mod. I'll post some pictures when I figure out how to upload 'em. They look nice!!!

Did the new mirrors come with the adapter plugs or do you have to hard wire them?

They came with the round adaptor plugs, but only three wires wherei in there. I canabalized an old radio plug for the bayonet terminals and wired them up. Smooth sailing.
