I purchased a 2011 F250 crew cab diesel yesterday. It barely fits in the garage. But it fits none the less. Only problem is that the antenna hits when pulling in. Any suggestions on a shorter one that will get the job done.
Congrats on your new rig. There was another thread about this very issue last week that I commented on. Do a quick search and you'll find the thread that lists several options.

I had the same problem, and purchased the Craven antenna. It's only about 4" tall and works pretty decent. When I get about 100 miles or so away from home the local radio stations start to fade away.

It is very easy to shorten your factory antenna with a air cut-off saw and reuse the factory ball tip. That way you can shorten only the amount necessary to fit in your garage. I have done this on two trucks with good results. Use super glue to ensure that the ball top is secure.

Are you using Sat radio or regular? I know it depends on where you live and the radio station strength but some report signal loss and some don't with a shorter antenna. If you use Sat radio the short antenna would not be an issue. AntennaX is a company many use. When I bough tmy Jeep I was given one by the dealer but haven't installed it yet. They are pretty cheap price wise.
