They will bolt on, but the electrical plug is different because the older trucks are not wired for them. I believe 2003(?) was the first year for the signal mirrors. Plenty of folks have upgraded, so there are threads detailing the process.
They bolt on, and they will "plug" in. And by that I mean they have the same connector. Or at least should. They used a round up to 2001 and in 2001ish they moved to the rectangle that the new mirrors have. So hopefully yours have the rectangle. Now, they wont be WIRED for the signals, markers and heat. You will have to run those wires yourself.

I stand corrected. I thought the plug change did not take place until the lighted mirror change.
Easy mod. Tap into the turnsignal and running light wires behind head light switch, run there the door loom and good to go. Put 06 king ranch mirrors on my early 99 and it took just a couple of hours.
