1995 351 missing when warm

i have a 1995 f150 with a 351 and it misses when it gets to operating temp and it shakes at about 40-45 mph i went to oreilys and read the codes and it didnt show any, where should i go from there.

Clean the contacts on the data link connector. If the reader actually connected to the PCM you should have gotten the all clear code of 111/111 for KOEO tests and 111/111 for the Continuous Memory display if the tests passed and no codes stored in memory.

Anything less means your test is invalid.

im sorry it showed code 111 for system pass that is all it showed

Thanks for the clarification.

Next set of questions: How old are the plugs/wires/cap/rotor and filters? Never ignore the basics.

they have all been changed in the last 20000 miles

20k and how old?

I would pull the plugs to see if any of them show signs of oil/rich condition. If the plug wires/cap/rotor were cheapos from Advance or AutoZone, etc. they could already be trashed. A visual inspection will tell you a lot.

they are a year old and they are autolite plugs and wires form napa. would a plug that is not gapped right cause it to miss

What about the cap and rotor? age/miles/brand/did you inspect them...

they are whatever brand it is that napa sells i havent had a chance to pull the plugs yet i will try to do that tommorow
cap and rotor were changed at the same time as the plugs and wires
