May need one of the above....any one have a source for good rebuilt or new?
Looking at dieselecmcource.com in south Fl for rebuilt pcm...495
Ford quoted 800+, salvage wants 500 used.
Looking at site sponsors now.
Any info on quality of rebuilt ones?

Don't think you need an IDM, but Clay has new ones. Swamps sells a modded version as well.
Riffraff Diesel: Alliant OEM 7.3L Injector Driver Module IDM
For PCM's I would visit junkyards, or I have heard some good reports from autocomputerexchange.com but have no personal experience.

No yards around here have anything....they all consider these trucks old and crush them asap.
Agree on the IDM...just included to be safe.
That autocomputerexchange has the same number/town as the one I listed...good.
