I just rebuilt the front end on my ttb dana 50. Here's what I did FWIW:
- Swapped auto hubs for Spicer locking hubs
- Replaced all 3 ujonts, + the driveshaft ujoint at the axle
- New spindle nut kits
- New carrier seals
- 1 new wheel bearing
- All ball joints
- All brake components
- 1 TRE
I think that's it. The spindle seals on mine were fine. One thing I didn't replace was the TTB bushings (whatever they're called).
I've checked all my I joints and they're all good.
I've already replaced my radius arm bushings.
I know I'll have to pull the hubs out to drop the knuckles. I will look into a service kit for those.
what additional seals should I look into?
I was told I might need camber bushings...this was from an alignment shop. from the research I've done there are a variety of different ones I can buy. lucky for me the shop I'm using has an alignment machine...any idea where I can get my camber/toe specs?
I'm also planning on replacing axle shaft bushings (or bearings), wheel bearings (maybe?) and the axle pivot bushing (if needed)
