2003 Expy Won't Accel
Could somebody tell why when I try to accelerate I get a very loud bumping sound that comes from my muffler. It misses and sputters and it's very hard to even get to around 50 MPH.

Do you have a K&N air filter?
You may have a dirty/damaged MAF sensor or there is an air leak after the
MAF sensor.
Clean the MAF sensor or test/replace.(disconnect negative battery cable
before doing any work). May need to test drive the truck for 10 minutes
after.
Check for loose or damaged vacuum lines/fittings.
THE ABOVE IS JUST FOR STARTERS.

Check the fuel pressure. You either have a bad fuel pump (or regulator), or because of the P0174 code, a very large vacuum leak.

Changed the #8 cop and it runs better but still gets terrible MPG and it stumbles on acceleration,but it will at least get up around 75. Could it more than one coil no codes P0174 has not reappeared.
